2. This policy is effective as of 18/05/2020 and may be changed at any time.
Therefore, we recommend that you check it periodically. All personal information relating to members, subscribers, customers, or visitors using Vitafor Science will be treated in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act of October 26, 1998 (Law No. 67/98).

Please note that Vitafor may aggregate Personal Data from different sources. To do this, we cross-reference information that was originally collected by the different sources mentioned above.

PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS:
4. DATA PROTECTION
4.1. For the purposes of the scope of this policy, as well as for subsequent provisions, the following terms will be defined as:
(i) National Data Protection Authority or ANPD: refers to the public administration body responsible for overseeing, implementing, and supervising compliance with the LGPD throughout the national territory;
(ii) Personal Data: refers to any information linked to an identified or identifiable natural person;
(iii) Information Security Incident: refers to any adverse event, confirmed or suspected, related to the security of information systems, that accidentally or illegally causes destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized access or acquisition, disclosure, misuse, or access to Personal Data that is not encrypted, transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed by the other Party;
(iv) Data Protection Laws: refers to all data protection and privacy laws that apply to the Parties involved here, including, but not limited to, the Brazilian General Data Protection Law - “LGPD” (Law No. 13,709/2018, as amended by Law No. 13,853/2019), the Internet Civil Framework (Federal Law No. 12,965/14) and the Consumer Protection Code (Law No. 8,078/1990); and
(v) Third party: refers to any person authorized to process personal data, on behalf of the Parties, who may, depending on the context, be qualified as an operator, sub-operator or processor, belonging to Vitafor or companies in its economic group.
4.1.0. The other terms used here and not defined above, such as “data subject”, “operator”, “controller” and “treatment”, have the meaning provided in the Brazilian Data Protection Laws. Vitafor declares and guarantees that:
4.2.1. It will be based on the most up-to-date wording of the provisions of the Data Protection Laws to protect Personal Data, including the implementation of procedures for storing, sharing, and transferring Personal Data from Brazil to another country, ensuring an adequate level of Personal Data protection;
4.2.2. It will maintain procedures to identify, resolve, and eliminate Information Security Incidents involving registered Personal Data;
4.2.3. You are fully responsible for any violations of Data Protection Laws, occurring through your sole fault or that of Third Parties under your responsibility, that may affect the processing of Personal Data from the registrations carried out;
4.2.4. It will establish the appropriate criteria so that Vitafor has access only to the Personal Data necessary and sufficient for its treatment;
4.2.5. It will provide all necessary assistance if the ANPD or the holders of Personal Data require confirmations regarding the compliance of the processing of such Personal Data with Data Protection Laws;
4.2.6. It will implement security, technical and administrative measures necessary to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, communication or dissemination, or unauthorized access, in addition to ensuring that the environment (whether physical or virtual) used by it for the processing of Personal Data is structured in such a way as to meet security requirements, the standards of good governance practices and the general principles set out in the Data Protection Laws;
4.2.7. It will provide assistance to the User, within the limits of the obligations provided for under the Data Protection Laws, related to the fulfillment of requests from Personal Data subjects in the regular exercise of their rights under the Data Protection Laws;
4.2.8. It will notify the User, within 72 (seventy-two) hours of becoming aware of the fact, of the occurrence of an Information Security Incident that may pose a risk or significant harm to the holders of the Personal Data in Vitafor's possession;
4.2.9. It will provide all necessary assistance to the User if the ANPD or the holders of Personal Data require confirmations regarding the compliance of the processing of such Personal Data with Data Protection Laws, to the extent that such information is in the possession of Vitafor or its sub-operators;
4.2.10. In the case of companies in the same economic group as Vitafor, a single person responsible for “data processing” is defined, regardless of whether this group is vertical or horizontal.
5. OF THE INFORMATION COLLECTED AND ITS PURPOSE
5.1. Like other websites, we collect and use information contained in advertisements. The information contained in the advertisements includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your ISP (Internet Service Provider), the browser you used when visiting our website (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time of your visit and what pages you visited within our website.
5.2. The provision, by the user, of information to the website that will be used only for:
(i) to analyze your preferences and habits;
(ii) to anticipate your needs, based on the analysis of your profile;
